It’s good that the diocese reminded us that in New York we also sometimes announce such collections in churches. Last year, after one such call, I donated blood at a local center, and then the whole day I felt like after a good Lenten meal - light and calm. Who has already walked this month?

Good to see the Bačka diocese putting out the appeal. Blood donations always seem to run short, especially in winter. I gave a pint last year at our local drive after Father mentioned it from the ambo, and like Sofia said, the rest of the day felt strangely light, almost like after a strict fast. Anyone in London parishes doing one soon?
