The Romanian Ambassador to Chisinau, Cristian-Leon Țurcanu, met on Wednesday with Metropolitan Antonie of Bessarabia during an official visit to the Diocese of Balti.

During the meeting, the two interlocutors reaffirmed the partnership in support of the Romanian communities in the Republic of Moldova.

The visit of His Excellency Cristian-Leon Țurcanu continued the institutional dialogue started in July at the Metropolitan Residence in Chisinau and was dedicated to the spiritual, cultural and identity projects developed in northern Bessarabia.
