The Consecration of the opening of a structure for people with dementia and Alzheimer's was performed by the Metropolitan of Maroneiatranslated

The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Maroneia and Komotini, Mr. Panteleimon, performed on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, the Consecration Mass for the inauguration of the Total Care Day Center (KIOF), for people with dementia and Alzheimer's disease, in Roditis, Komotini, in the presence of the Minister of Health, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis, and the local authorities. The Center was created in collaboration of the Holy Metropolis with the Urban Non-Profit Company (NPC) "Agios Loukas - Roditis", for the support of people suffering from Dementia and Alzheimer's and is a critical station for the local community, offering specialized services, holistic care and mental empowerment activities, with the aim of improving the quality of life of the patients as well as providing substantial relief to their families and caregivers.

His Eminence wished for the orderly operation and emphasized that the health facilities for the local community enhance the quality of life of the residents and promote the common good. He wished the workers strength in their daily work.
