Archbishop Elpidophoros of America met with Protopresbyter Gregory Gilbert

Archbishop Elpidophoros of America met with Protopresbyter Gregory Gilbert, who he recently appointed to serve as Dean of the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New York City, effective September 1, 2026. Also in the meeting was National Chancellor Bishop Nektarios of Diokleia.

Fr. Gregory was ordained to the Holy Priesthood in 2015 and has faithfully served the Church in a number of significant pastoral and administrative capacities. He previously served as Proistamenos of communities in Bel Air, Maryland, and Upper Darby, Pennsylvania; as Dean of the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. John the Theologian in Tenafly, New Jersey; and most recently as Chancellor of the Metropolis of New Jersey.
