The teenagers from the AICitizens robotics team of the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" National College from Focșani became teachers for students from disadvantaged communities in Vrancea county, reports Agerpres.

The programming, 3D design and robotics workshops are organized for students from the secondary school classes of the schools in Mărășești, Jariștea and Gugești. The objective is for some of them to later form robotics teams in their own schools.

Irina Curcă, a member of the team, explained that the project aims to transmit the knowledge acquired by teenagers during competitions to children who have more difficult access to such activities.

"We aim to take what we learn in robotics and all the knowledge we accumulate during the competition to underprivileged communities."
