With particular splendor and every solemnity, an event was held in honor of Archbishop of Canada Sotiriou for "90 Years of Bright Journey" There are events that remain indelibly engraved in the memory and are a point of reference for the history of a community. One such special event took place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Cultural Center of the Archdiocese of Canada, where more than 600 people attended a grand dinner to celebrate the life and multifaceted work in Christ of His Eminence Archbishop of Canada Mr. Sotiriou.

During the event, the recent edition of the Community of I. Cathedral of Saint Nicholas Toronto, entitled "90 Years of a Bright Journey", dedicated to the historical and ongoing ministry of Archbishop Sotiriou, was officially presented.

The organization of the event was undertaken by the President of the Community of the First Cathedral of St. Nikolaou, Ms. Anastasia Sotiropoulou, with her tireless team. The event brought together distinguished guests, including Lords of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, representatives of the political authorities and leading figures of the Community.
