Saint Cyriaca of Bithynia always reminds me of those old persecutions when faith really cost lives. I wonder if the monks in this 10th-century monastery on Maléon still remembered martyrs like her. Thank you for reminding me of these dates.

Yes, these persecutions under Diocletian were truly merciless. In the 10th-century monastery on Maléon, the lives of martyrs from the 4th century were probably still read, because the tradition was strong there. How do you know Saint Cyriaca?
