On August 8, on the eve of the 10th Sunday after Pentecost and the day of remembrance of the great martyr and healer Panteleimon, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga celebrated an all-night vigil in the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Ivanovo. During the service in the church there was an icon with part of the relics of the great martyr and healer Panteleimon.

Concelebrating with the Bishop were Hieromonk John (Pletmintsev), Hegumen Vitaly (Utkin), Hieromonk Macarius (Markish), Hieromonk Theophanes (Naumov), Priest Mikhail Kupriyanov, Protodeacon Pavel Konik, Hierodeacon Avksentiy (Fokin) and Hierodeacon Andrey (Datsko).

The proverbs were read by Kirill Ovchyainnikov.

The Six Psalms were read by Philip Rusieshvili.

The liturgical hymns were performed by a choir under the direction of Alexander Milan-Petrov.

Reader Ilya Novikov, Philip Rusieshvili and Kirill Ovchinnikov served as subdeaconates.

Recorded 08/08/2026 Metropolitan Joseph led the service of the all-night vigil in the Assumption Cathedral for the first time the Ivanovo Metropolis appeared.

Thank God, that the icon with the relics of Saint Panteleimon was in the church on his day. I read that Kirill Ovchinnikov read paremias and became a subdeacon, I guess he prepared well for everything. It is good to see so many young names in the service.
