On July 5, on the eve of the feast of the Vladimir Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos and the Council of Vladimir Saints, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga celebrated an all-night vigil in the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Ivanovo. During the service in the church there was an icon with particles of the relics of the saints of the Vladimir land.

Concelebrating with the Bishop were Abbot Vitaly (Utkin), Hieromonk Macarius (Markish), Hieromonk Feofan (Naumov), Priest Mikhail Kupriyanov, Hierodeacon Avksentiy (Fokin) and Hierodeacon Andrey (Datsko).

The liturgical hymns were performed by the bishop's choir under the direction of Hieromonk John (Pletmintsev).

The proverbs were read by Hierodeacon Barnabas (Laguta).

The Six Psalms were read by Deacon Alexander Lityaev.

The subdeacons were Reader Ilya Novikov and Deacon Alexander Lityaev.

Хорошо, что икона с мощами Владимирских святых была в храме. Я всегда с теплом вспоминаю, как мы в молодости ездили во Владимир на богомолье. А хор под управлением отца Иоанна пел особенно стройно, слышно даже по описанию.

Спасибо, что рассказали про икону с частицами мощей Владимирских святых — хорошо, когда она прямо в соборе была. Хор отца Иоанна всегда поёт чисто, я это знаю по нашим службам. А кто-нибудь помнит, как игумен Виталий служил у нас в прошлом году?

Хорошо, что икона с мощами Владимирских святых прямо в соборе была, многие могли приложиться. Игумен Виталий и отец Макарий сослужили, помню, как они вдвоём в прошлом году на престольный в нашем храме служили — очень душевно вышло. А хор отца Иоанна и правда всегда ровный.

Хорошо, что икона с мощами Владимирских святых была прямо в соборе, многие могли приложиться. Помню, как мы с женой в прошлом году ездили во Владимир и тоже к таким мощам подходили. А отец Иоанн с хором, как всегда, всё ровно держал.

Oui, cette icône avec les reliques était vraiment impressionnante, je l’ai aperçue en passant près de l’iconostase après le service. Pour le père Vitaly, il avait effectivement donné un coup de main à notre fête paroissiale l’an dernier, c’était pratique. Tu penses qu’on pourrait lui demander directement pour la Dormition ?
