Epistle to the Galatians

The Galatians were Paul's listeners not in order to observe the fulfillment of the law, abolished by the passion of the Cross, but in order to believe in the Trinity Itself and preach the new Gospel. But then some of the Jews themselves came, who wanted not to turn them away from the Gospel proclaimed to them by Paul, but to add to it their fulfillment of the Old Testament and, having been freed by grace, to again subject them to the yoke of slavery.
