The bones of the hetman Luca Arbore were reburied at the Arbore Monastery, over 500 years after his deathtranslated

The bones of the hetman Luca Arbore were reburied on Saturday in the vestibule of the Arbore Monastery, over 500 years after his passing into eternity.
The solemn moment, accompanied by military honors, took place at the end of the Holy Liturgy celebrated on the occasion of the Beheading of Saint John the Baptist, the patron saint of the monastic settlement.
The celebration was attended by representatives of local and central institutions, including Dan Tiperciuc, the mayor of Arbore, and Nicolae Robu, the vice-president of the Suceava County Council.
The service was officiated by the Bishop of Dacia Felix, together with the Vicar Bishops Nectarie de Bogdania of the Archdiocese of Chisinau, and Damaschin Dorneanul of the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuțil.
"Uncompromising personality, Luca Arbore or Arbure was a special man. Not many people are born and live guided by healthy principles like his. He was capable of the greatest gestures. He refused to betray his faith and moral ideal in borderline situations of great gravity: the siege of Suceva, the death of Ștefan cel Mare, the threats of Ștefaniță Vodă," said PS Damaschin Dorneanul.
