Bishop Perth handed over holy relics to the Parish of Saints Constantine and Helen Northbridgetranslated

The Most Reverend Bishop of Perth, Mr. Elpidios, officiated during Lent and presided over the High Priestly Divine Liturgy at the Holy Church of Saints Constantine and Helen, in Northbridge, Perth on Sunday, September 20, 2026, Sunday after the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy and Living Cross. The day acquired special significance and was a source of spiritual joy for the Parish, as, at the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, His Holiness, on behalf of the Most Reverend Archbishop of Australia Mr. Makarios, officially handed over to the Parish holy relics, which will henceforth be kept permanently in the Holy Church and will be placed for veneration.

Among the sacred treasures offered are pieces of holy relics of Saints Constantine and Helen, patrons of Northbridge Parish, Saint George the Great Martyr and Trophy Bearer, Saint Eleftherios the Hieromartyr and Saint Stylianus, patron of children.

The holy relics were offered to the Parish from Mount Athos, while the reliquaries were donated by parishioners.
