Today Sunday, August 9, 2026, His Eminence Metropolitan of Kiti Mr. Nektarios officiated and preached at the Holy Church of Agios Konstantinos in Ormidia. At the end of the Divine Liturgy, he performed the memorial services for all those who fell during the barbaric Turkish invasion of 1974 of the Ormidia Community. A memorial speech was delivered by the Member of Parliament of Larnaca, Mr. Prodromos Alabritis. At the end, wreaths were laid at the Ormidia fallen and missing memorial site.
