ON THE 10TH WEEK AFTER PENTECOST, BISHOP PORFIRY PERFORMED THE DIVINE LITURGY IN THE CHURCH OF ST. PANTELEMON IN THE VILLAGE OF BAKSHTYtranslated

On August 9, the 10th Sunday after Pentecost, Bishop Porfiry of Lida and Smorgon celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church in honor of the great martyr and healer Panteleimon.

Concelebrating with His Eminence were: the rector of the church, Archpriest Vitaly Utekalko, Priest Leonid Barbazhinsky and Priest Seraphim Pashkevich. The diaconal rank was headed by Protodeacon Anatoly Melnitsky.

After the special litany, the ruling bishop announced a prayer for peace.

At the end of the service and procession, Bishop Porfiry addressed all those present with a word of edification and gave an archpastoral blessing.
