Feast of Agios Kosmas of Etolos in N. Philadelphiatranslated

The memory of the Holy Hieromartyr and National Apostle Cosmas of Aitolos is celebrated with all solemnity by the eponymous Holy Church of the Saint in New Philadelphia, where a fragment of the Holy Relic of the "Saint of the Slaves" is kept. The Holy Services will be held according to the following schedule:

Holiday program

Sunday, August 23

7:00 p.m.: Grand Solemn Vespers with Artoklasia and divine Sermon.

Monday August 24th

Time 07.00 am: Orthros and Solemn Divine Liturgy, officiated by the Reverend Metropolitan of Nea Ionia, Philadelphia, Heraklion and Chalkidon Mr. Gabriel.

6:30 p.m.: Vespers liturgy and then procession of the Holy Icon of Agios Kosmas. Afterwards, a Holy Prayer will be held to Agios Kosmas Etolos.
