Programmatic Agreement for documentation, digitization and maintenance of the collections of the Theater Museum, with the University of Peloponnesetranslated

The Ministry of Culture, implementing the program of the permanent housing of the Archive-Library of the Theater Museum, in the house of Alexandros Soutsos, and of the Theater Museum in the industrial complex of Tsaoussoglou, proceeded to enter into a four-year Program Contract with the Department of Theater Studies of the University of Peloponnese, with a total budget of 1,233,924 euros. It is noted that the Ministry of Culture acquired, in 2021, the entire Collections of the Theater Museum, from the Center for Study and Research of the Hellenic Theatre. The objects of the Collections of the Theater Museum with its valuable Archive have been designated - since 2016 - as new monuments, in accordance with the provisions of Law 4858/2021, for the protection of cultural heritage.
