Kydonias Titos: The Holy Cross is the center of our existencetranslated

With enthusiasm and the participation of a large number of believers, the great Despotic feast of the Universal Exaltation of the Holy and Living Cross was celebrated in the Holy Metropolis of Kydonia and Apokoronou. On the evening of Sunday, September 13, 2026, the eve of the feast, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Kydonia and Apokoronou, Mr. Titos officiated at the solemn Vespers at the celebratory Holy Church of the Holy Cross of Varipetro Kydonia, where he received a warm welcome from the vicar, the holy clergy and the faithful of the Parish.

During the service, His Eminence honored the vicar of the Parish, Father Eleftherios Xekoukoulotakis, awarding him the office of Protopresbyter, recognizing his many years of hard work in the Parish.
