The Holy Icon of Panagia Bimatarissatranslated

One of the most precious theological relics that adorn the I.M.M. Vatopediou is the main icon of the Monastery, the so-called Panagia Vimatarissa, as it is placed in the place of the throne of the holy step.

This icon is also called "Ktitorissa", because it was found at the time of the three founders of the Monastery.
