4th "Gemina" Infantry Division on anniversary: 110 years of military tradition celebrated in Cluj-Napocatranslated

The 4th "Gemina" Infantry Division celebrated on Thursday 110 years of military tradition through a military and religious ceremony organized in Avram Iancu Square in Cluj-Napoca.

The anniversary moment commemorated the establishment 110 years ago of the 4th Northern Army, whose work was carried forward by the Gemini Division.

His Holiness Father Andrei, the Metropolitan of Cluj, Maramureș and Sălaj, officials and numerous soldiers from the division took part in the ceremony.

His Eminence officiated a Tedeum service and addressed the soldiers with a word of blessing.

Metropolitan Andrei urged the soldiers to remain steadfast in their mission, like faithful soldiers, offering them as models the Holy Great Martyr George and the Holy Voivode Stephen the Great.

Gratitude moment On this occasion, IPS Andrei offered several orders. The commander of the 4th "Gemina" Infantry Division, Major General Bogdan Cernat, received the "Holy Priest Martyr Liviu Galaction from Cluj" Order for laymen.
