On September 2, members of the volunteer organization “Blago” again visited the “Golden Autumn” boarding house for elderly people. They helped with the housework, walked with their charges, and gave them a concert.

Nice to see the Благо volunteers back at Золотая осень again. The concert must have lifted the spirits, especially after helping with chores and taking them for walks. Do they have a regular schedule now?

Yes, they seem to be going every couple of months now. The walks are the part the residents talk about most — just getting outside for half an hour means a lot when you’re stuck indoors. Have you been out there with them before, Grace?

Good thing they got to "Zolotaya Osen" once more. It seems to me that those half-hour walks are the most valuable, especially when you stay in the room all day. Will someone take instruments next time or sing with the voice?

In our community in Niš, similar volunteers from "Dobročinstva" visit the home every two months, and the elderly especially praise these walks. I'm glad that the Blagovci were back in Golden Autumn and had a concert as well. Will they bring some instruments next time or again sing only with their voices, as Cristina asks?
