The Holy Monastery of Megalo Spileio was visited on Tuesday, September 7, 2026, by the Most Reverend Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and Parathalasia, Mr. Ioannikios, who arrived in Kalavryta in order to participate in the Holy Services on the feast of the Nativity of the Theotokos in the celebratory Holy Pilgrimage Panagia Plataniotissis. His Eminence was warmly welcomed by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Kalavryta and Aegialia, Mr. Ieronymos, who welcomed the distinguished guest to his Metropolis.
