On August 2, on the day of remembrance of the prophet Elijah of God, Bishop Hilarion of Kineshma and Palekh celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Elijah Church in the village of Palekh.
Concelebrating with the archpastor were the dean of the Palekh district, Priest Nikolai Kostrov, the rector of the church, Priest Alexander Baranov, and the clergy of the Palekh deanery.
Metropolitan Nikon of Astrakhan and Kamyzyak prayed during the service in the church.
Following the prayer behind the pulpit, a religious procession took place.
