Dzień rumuńskich produktów rolno-spożywczych obchodzony jest co roku 10 października.

Święto zostało ustanowione na mocy ustawy nr. 168/2017, która zachęca do promocji lokalnej żywności.

On the occasion of this national day, fairs are organized in several localities in the country, which bring together producers from several regions of Romania.

Visitors can find Romanian agri-food products registered in various national and European quality schemes, such as certified traditional products, mountain products, products with protected geographical indications and ecologically certified products.

In a post on the Facebook page, the representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development explained that this holiday is "the day when we honor the authentic Romanian taste, the goodies from our farms and the traditional dishes made according to recipes preserved from generation to generation".
