The Holy Icon of Our Lady of Odegitria from the Xenophon Monastery of Mount Athos in Dramatranslated

On Saturday, October 24 at 5:00 p.m., at the entrance of the Holy Church of Agios Georgios in Nea Amisos Drama, the city will welcome the Holy and miraculous Icon of Our Lady of Odegitria from the Holy Monastery of Xenophon of Mount Athos. Afterwards, the Great Solemn Vespers will be sung, presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Drama, Mr. Dorotheos, and with the participation of the Holy Clergy of the Metropolis.

Daily, until Thursday 29/10, holy services will be held, in the morning at 7:30 am. and in the afternoon at 6:00 p.m.

The Holy Icon will depart from the Holy Church of Agios Georgios Nea Amisos on Thursday 29/10, after the end of the Divine Liturgy.

For the convenience of the pious pilgrims, the Holy Church will remain open

from 7:00 am to 10:00 p.m., from Saturday, October 24 through Wednesday, October 28.
