There is such a state of mind when one feels like Atlas, holding up the entire sky on their shoulders. It seems that if you take even a step to the side, relax your back, or close your eyes for just a second, everything will collapse: someone's projects, another person's mood, family peace, friends' and colleagues' problems. You get used to being strong, reliable, and thus the person who always solves any problem.

Let us focus right now on how our knees are already trembling and our back is aching from this unbearable weight. It's time to carefully lower this sky to the ground.

We often fall into this trap for the most noble reasons. We believe that love and care are expressed in the ability to take away all of someone else's pain, to shoulder all their responsibility, and to live a piece of someone else's life. We fear being disappointed, fearing to be "bad," or becoming inconvenient.

Over time, this turns into an unrelenting trap. We start taking on what does not belong to us. And those around us get used to it. But this is not help; rather, it deprives a person of the ability to stand on their own feet.

What can help relieve this burden? When the smothering sense of duty tries to settle in again…
