Pupils of Sunday schools of the Zhlobin deanery congratulated parishioners on Intercession and Mother’s Daytranslated

On the days of the celebration of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Mother’s Day, pupils of Sunday schools of the Zhlobin deanery prepared holiday programs for parishioners dedicated to the Mother of God, maternal love and family.

In the Cathedral of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity, pupils of the Rostock Sunday school presented the musical and poetic program “Omophorion of Mother's Love”. The children read poems and sang songs dedicated to the Most Holy Theotokos and mothers.

One of the musical numbers was a song about the Feast of the Intercession performed by Yulia Karaban. The program ended with a general song number, which was joined by Sunday school students and spectators. The choreographic ensemble "Dance Show Chance" under the direction of Irina Artamonova presented a dance composition.

At the parish of the Church of St. Seraphim of Sarov, students from the Sunday class also prepared congratulations for the parishioners. The children read poems and sang a song about their mother, and at the end of the meeting they gave sweet treats to those present.

Festive performances became another part of the Week of Parental Love, recalling gratitude to parents, caring for loved ones and family unity.
