Preparing for the start of the school year is a troublesome time, full of excitement and worry not only for students, but also for their loved ones. And therefore it is especially important to have people nearby who will help you gain confidence and will not leave you alone with difficulties.

The parishes of the Zhlobin deanery tried to support students and their families with prayer, asking God for help and strength for the upcoming school year, and with the necessary school supplies. In the parish of the Church of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity, large and needy families were provided with financial assistance.

On August 30, pupils of the Sunday school of the Church of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious in the agricultural town of Luksky helped in the celebration of the Divine Liturgy: the boys served at the altar and read the Apostle, and the children's choir filled the church with bright singing. After the service, Archpriest Pyotr Garayev performed a prayer service and blessed the schoolchildren, parents and teachers for the school year. The meeting ended with a traditional tea party.
