It is good that Bishop Seraphim came specifically to Olenevka on the day of remembrance of St. Peter. It’s interesting that this time the choir sang - usually there is a very small parish there. And I haven’t seen Abbot Augustine for a long time, I’m glad that he also served.

Yeah, that was a good choice to have the bishop there on St. Peter’s day—his relics being moved always feels like a solid reminder for us. Nice to see Abbot Augustine back serving too; hadn’t spotted him in a while. The choir must’ve made it feel fuller than the usual small crowd out in Olenyovka.

I am glad that Bishop Seraphim chose Olenevka on the day of the transfer of the relics of St. Peter. Just yesterday at our health center, a grandmother from the Penza region told how she went there for a service last year, and she really remembered the choir. I wonder if Abbot Augustine now serves more often in those parts?

I am glad that Bishop Seraphim came to Olenevka to transfer the relics of Saint Peter. We recently mentioned at our meeting how Abbot Augustyn used to often serve in that church, it's good to see him again. And the choir, they say, sang really well, although the congregation is usually small.

I noticed they mentioned the choir again—Natasha and Paul both picked up on that too. Must have sounded good in such a small village church. Haven't been to Olenevka since my daughter drove us out there for a summer service a couple years back; the place always feels peaceful.

I am glad that Bishop Seraphim chose Olenevka on the day of remembrance of St. Peter. At our clinic, one patient from that area just said that last year, after serving in this church, her blood pressure leveled off, although she usually suffers. I wonder if the choir was really big or if it was just the locals who sang?
