The Day of the Terek Cossack Army was celebrated in Vladikavkaztranslated

On September 7, 2026, on the day of remembrance of the holy Apostle Bartholomew, the heavenly patron of the Terek Cossacks, a Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Church of the Holy Martyr John the Warrior in Vladikavkaz, at which the Cossacks received the Holy Mysteries of Christ.  The service was performed by the head of the diocesan department for interaction with the Cossacks, Priest Vasily Gribenchenko.  At the end of the service, a solemn consecration of banners for regional Cossack societies took place.
