A conversation about family and paternal responsibility took place at Lyceum No. 1translated

On October 22, 2026, at the end of the Week of Parental Love, the Chairman of the Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Gomel Diocese, Archpriest Artemy Krivitsky, met with 11th grade students of Gomel City Lyceum No. 1.
The topic of the conversation was the role of the father in the family. High school students prepared in advance questions about family relationships, leadership in the family, difficulties in raising children and parental responsibility.
Archpriest Artemy answered questions from lyceum students and spoke about the father as the head of the family, its protector and spiritual mentor to the children. He emphasized that the father's role is associated not only with caring for the well-being of the family, but also with the responsibility for raising children and passing on moral guidelines to them. The clergyman also touched upon the spiritual foundations of marriage and modern ideas about the family, disseminated in the information environment.
