The Bishop of Tamisos met with the Director of the Cultural Heritage Servicetranslated

On October 21, 2026, at the seat of the Patriarchal Exarch of Lithuania, His Eminence Bishop of Tamissou Mr. Panaretos, Patriarchal Exarch of Lithuania, met with the Director of the Cultural Heritage Service of the Ministry of Culture of Lithuania, Mr. Vidmantas Bezaras. The meeting was also attended by the First Chancellor of the Patriarchal Exarch of Lithuania, Protopresbyter Vitalijus Mockus, the Director of the "Koinonia" Foundation, which was established for the construction of an Orthodox church, Protopresbyter Vladimir Seliavko, the adviser of the Patriarchal Exarch on social issues, Evelina Paulavičienė, and the legal adviser of the Patriarchal Exarch, Rimantas Jonynas.

During the meeting, the plans of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Lithuania for the construction of a new Orthodox church were discussed. This initiative aims to create better conditions for the religious and community life of Orthodox believers in Lithuania.
