"Through our children we felt Heaven on earth!" says father Ilie Dumitrel, father of six children and charity priest at the Filantropia Clinical Hospital in Bucharest. The joy that a child was born, the worries about its development and the questions about what will come next are known to him both from his own family and from meetings with pregnant women and mothers who come to the maternity ward.

Alexandra Nadane: You are a husband, father of six children and a priest. How do you find the strength to navigate each day through all the responsibilities these roles bring?

Pr. Ilie Dumitrel: Great and wonderful is God in His gifts! I try to fulfill them all with peace, and the strength to fulfill them comes from God and from the joy, but also from the responsibility that these roles generate.
