PS Benedict, the guest of the new Educational Synaxis at the Nicula Monastery: How teachers can sign uptranslated

The Nicula Monastery in Cluj County will host a new Educational Synax between October 16-18. The special guest of the meeting will be His Holiness Father Benedict, the Bishop of Sălaj.

The meeting is aimed at teachers, school counselors and trainers who want to build a closer relationship with students and can create an environment conducive to learning, starting from three elements: story, play and presence.

"We will talk about the teacher not only as the one who teaches, but as the man who is present, who knows how to create space for play and discovery, who tells and listens to stories and who can turn the encounter with the student into a real training path," reads a statement published on the association's Facebook page.

Special guests The Most Reverend Father Benedict, Bishop of the Hall, will speak to the teachers about their own formation and the role they play in the development of the students.

Georgiana Elena Popan, actress, storyteller and doctor in the art of storytelling, will support a practical component dedicated to the use of games and storytelling techniques during classes.
