"The Road to the Church"translated

With the blessing of His Eminence Vincent, Bishop of Tara and Tyukalinsk, on October 15, 2026, the exhibition “The Road to the Church”, dedicated to two significant anniversaries of church history, will open at the Tara Museum of Local Lore.

The exhibition is dedicated to two important dates in the history of Orthodoxy on the Tara land: the 250th anniversary of the completion of the construction of the Spasskaya Church and the 40th anniversary of the opening of the Ascension Church.

The exhibition is intended to become a symbolic bridge between eras, uniting the historical heritage of the past and the spiritual life of the present. Visitors will be able to trace the path of creation and revival of shrines that have become an integral part of the cultural and spiritual image of the region.

The opening of the exhibition is a significant event not only for the museum community, but also for all residents and guests of the Tara Irtysh region who are not indifferent to the history of their native land and the preservation of Orthodox traditions.
