Archpriest Oleg Zimnitsky conducted a lesson at the Gostilovich schooltranslated

On October 27, 2026, Archpriest Oleg Zimnitsky, rector of the Church of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious in the agricultural town of Gostilovichi, Logoisky district, conducted a lesson for students in grades 5–6 of the Gostilovichi Secondary School.
The topic of the lesson was Holy Scripture. Schoolchildren got acquainted with the books that make up the Pentateuch of Moses and their contents.
The priest spoke about the significance of biblical books in the life of a Christian and how the Old Testament narratives help to understand the history of the relationship between God and man.
During the lesson, the children learned about the most important events described in the Pentateuch and discussed what moral lessons can be learned from biblical stories. The students listened with interest to Father Oleg’s story and asked questions. The meeting helped schoolchildren expand their knowledge of the Holy Scriptures and think about the meaning of faith and moral values in human life.
