For every citizen of our country, July 3 is a sacred date. Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus symbolizes the national unity, will and courage of the generation of winners who defended the freedom of the Motherland during the Great Patriotic War. Traditionally, this holiday is celebrated with special scale and reverence at the 72nd Guards Joint Training Center for the training of warrant officers and junior specialists.

On the holiday, the Alley of Heroes again became a center of attraction for the center’s personnel, veterans of the Armed Forces and honored guests. The ceremonial meeting opened with an incredibly strong creative chord. In the very heart of memory, the symbolic musical composition “New Time” performed by Kirill Stein and Anna Pavlyukevich sounded.

The head of the guard training center, Major General Alexander Ageichik, addressed the meeting participants with a welcoming speech.

For many military personnel, this holiday marked the long-awaited “finest hour.” In a solemn atmosphere on the Alley of Heroes, a memorable ritual of presenting shoulder straps to officers and warrant officers who received their next military ranks took place.
