On August 26, 2026, in the building of the Diocesan Administration, a meeting was held between Metropolitan Maximilian of Irkutsk and Angarsk with the head of the federal state unitary enterprise Spetsvyaz of Russia, Colonel General Ivan Alekseevich Gaichenya, who is in Irkutsk on a working visit. The meeting was also attended by the First Deputy Head, Colonel General Andrei Vasilyevich Nechaev, the head of the Irkutsk branch, Major General Oleg Petrovich Semashko, and the priest Grigory Gudin.
