Metropolitan Maximilian met with the LDPR delegation at the Cathedral of the Signtranslated

On August 17, 2026, the Znamensky Cathedral was visited by a parliamentary delegation led by the chairman of the LDPR, the head of the LDPR faction in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Leonid Slutsky, who is in Irkutsk on an official visit. As part of the visit, the leader of the LDPR was received by the head of the Irkutsk Metropolis, Metropolitan Maximilian of Irkutsk and Angarsk. The meeting was also attended by the coordinator of the Irkutsk regional branch of the LDPR, Andrei Dukhovnikov, and Konstantin Babkin, who is running for the State Duma from the LDPR in the regional group.
