The local proclamation of the canonization of the Pious Saints Nazaria, Olimpiada and Elisabeta (Safta) Brâncoveanu will take place on the occasion of the patron saint of the German Văratec Monastery, dedicated to the Dormition of the Mother of God. The events will take place between August 15-17.

The religious events will begin on August 14, when the Great Vespers will be celebrated from 15:00, followed, from 18:00, by Matins and the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

On the feast day of the Assumption, August 15, the program will begin at 07:00 with the Sacrament of the Holy Olive. From 09:00 the Holy Liturgy will be celebrated, and in the evening, starting from 18:00, the Vigil service will be performed.

On Sunday, August 16, the Akathist of the Pious Saints Nazaria, Olimpiada and Elisabeta from Văratec will be celebrated, followed by the Holy Liturgy, during which the local proclamation of the canonization of the three saints, recently entered in the calendar of the Romanian Orthodox Church, will take place.

The liturgical program will end on August 17, the feast of Saint George the Pilgrim.
