Let us not despair when fear or doubt overwhelms us, urged PS Teofil de Iberiatranslated

The Most Reverend Father Theophilus of Iberia, Vicar Bishop of the Diocese of Spain and Portugal, on Sunday urged the faithful of the "Saint John the Apostle and Evangelist" Parish in Almeria, Spain, to keep their gaze fixed on Christ and to call upon Him in moments of trial.
The hierarch served together with Fr. Marius Morariu, the parish priest of the community, Fr. Daniel Ciprian Iacov, from the Parish of San Isidro de Níjar, and Archduke. Casian Nemet, minister of the Episcopal Cathedral of Madrid.
The Most Reverend Father Theophilus of Iberia explained that Christ the Redeemer wants His disciples to believe in Him with all their being, without doubting His saving love and power.
"Let us not despair, but cry out from the bottom of our hearts to Him, and He will extend a saving hand to us," emphasized PS Teofil de Iberia.
"As long as we have our gaze fixed on Him, being united with Him through the Holy Mysteries and through prayer, we will be able to walk as on dry land on the turbulent sea of this life."
At the end, Fr. Marius Morariu thanked the hierarch for the blessing to serve among the faithful in Almería.
