Pilgrimage to the Chapel of the National Cathedral: The relics of St. John Jacob from Neamț will be broughttranslated

The reliquary with a fragment of the relics of Saint John Jacob the Jesuit will be taken to the Chapel of the National Cathedral for worship on Wednesday.
The event takes place on the occasion of the feast of Saint John Jacob, August 5, one of the spiritual protectors of the Chapel at the National Cathedral campus.
The celebration program will begin on Tuesday evening with the Vespers service with Litia, held from 6:00 p.m.
On the feast of Saint John Jacob, His Holiness Father Paisie Sinait, Patriarchal Vicar Bishop, will officiate the Holy Liturgy from 09:15. This will be preceded by the Matins service, which will start at 08:00.
At the same time, starting at 18:00, the Vespers service will be celebrated together with the Litany for the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord.
Thursday's liturgical program will begin with the Matins service, at 08:00, which will be followed by the Holy Liturgy at 09:15.
A fragment of the relics of Saint Ioan Jacob the Hozebit and an epitrachil that belonged to him were given to Patriarch Daniel by the Patriarch of Jerusalem during his visit to Bucharest in 2018 and are kept at the Historical Chapel of the Patriarchal Residence.
