Patriarch Daniel, on the 250th anniversary of the establishment of Balinţ High School: An opportunity to give thanks to Godtranslated

Blessed Father Daniel, the Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, sent a message on Friday on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the Balinţ Secondary School in Timiș County.

His Beatitude explained that the celebration of the educational institution is "an occasion to thank God for the gifts showered on all the teachers and graduates of this venerable educational institution and to commemorate with gratitude all those who have passed on to the Lord".

"The foundations of education are laid in the family, but the school has the role of continuing and consolidating the educational act, both by offering a rigorous informational package, and especially by forming the student's personality".

At the same time, Father Patriarch Daniel reminded that the joy of the anniversary moment is completed by the fact that the children from his native town, Dobreşti, also learn in the school in Balinț.
