About compassion for animals: a book exhibition from the collections of the library of the Holy Nativity of the Mother of God Monastery in the State Educational Institution Secondary School No. 24translated

On November 2, 2026 - on the first day of the holidays - a book exhibition “On Compassion for Animals” was opened at the State Educational Institution Secondary School No. 24 in Brest from the collections of the library of the Holy Nativity of the Mother of God Convent in the amount of 38 books on the topic. It is intended primarily for students who attend school camps during the holidays. The goal is to foster care, compassion, and a sense of responsibility for domesticated animals. Compassion for animals is an important indicator of a person’s moral maturity. It is closely related to kindness of character, that “he who is cruel to animals cannot be a kind person.” Events are planned based on the exhibition.
