On November 4, 2026, at the 59th year of his life, Priest Sergius Miguel, cleric of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ Oshmyany, reposed in the Lord.

The future priest was born on February 25, 1968 in the village of Rechitsa, Brest region.

Before becoming a clergyman, Sergius Miguel served in the army and graduated from an agricultural college in Stolin. Together with his wife Svetlana Nikolaevna, he raised a son and daughter.

On December 23, 1998, Bishop Gury of Novogrudok and Lida ordained Sergius Miguel to the rank of deacon in the Holy Assumption Cathedral of the Zhirovichi Monastery, and on January 7, 1999, to the rank of priest.

Over the years of service, Father Sergius served in various parishes of the Novogrudok and Lida dioceses.

In 1999, Priest Sergius was appointed rector of the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village of Dvorets, Dyatlovsky district. Then in 2006, he was appointed rector of the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Vsetsaritsa” in Lida, and in 2014 - rector of the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village of Knyazikovtsy, Ivyevsky district.

Since 2019, the priest has served in the Ashmyany Church of the Resurrection of Christ, serving the Church of the Hieromartyr Peter, Metropolitan of Krutitsky (agricultural town of Station Oshmyany).
