With splendor and the proper ecclesiastical order, Finikounta will once again celebrate its patroness Panagia Tricheroussa this year, during the coming two days, July 10 and 11, 2026. On Friday, the eve of the feast at 7:30 p.m., in the Holy Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary, where the Miraculous Icon of the Virgin Mary is kept, a two-priestly Vespers will be celebrated.

On Saturday, the main day of the feast at 7 am, the Orthros will be celebrated, followed by a solemn bi-priestly Divine Liturgy. Then around 10.30 a.m. there will be a pandemonium procession of the Holy Icon, in the central streets of the town, for the sanctification of the residents and pilgrims.

The venerable Metropolitans of Arti Mr. Kallinikos and Mr. Epifanios of Mantineia and Kynouria will participate in the religious events.

At the celebration, the Government will be represented by the Deputy Minister of Citizen Protection, Mr. Ioannis Lambropoulos, while representatives of the Parliament, the Local Government, the Armed Forces and the Security Forces will be present.
