Bosnia: Controversy over 14th-century Serbian manuscript Gospeltranslated

The cause of the dispute with the Republika Srpska was the attitude of the Commission for the Preservation of National Monuments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which allegedly included the holy gospel in its jurisdiction, presenting it as a Bosnian manuscript.
According to rts.rs The "Gospel of Chainits" as it is known is kept in the Church of the Dormition of the Virgin in Chainits. It is a valuable medieval manuscript which dates back to the late 14th century. It is written in the same script as the Gospel of Miroslav. It is also unique in that it is still used in the Divine Liturgy today while being owned by the Serbian Orthodox Church.
