The Metropolitan of Corinth at the Holy Monastery of Karakallos on Mount Athostranslated

The Holy Monastery of Caracalla on Mount Athos was visited during the two days of July 11-12, 2026 by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Corinth, Mr. Pavlos, in order to celebrate the holy feast of the First Apostles Peter and Paul, to whom the Catholic of the Monastery is honored. On Saturday July 11, following the arrival and official reception of His Eminence following His escort, a solemn holy vigil was held, which concluded on Sunday morning. The celebratory feast followed with the Monastery's Professor Elder Filotheos welcoming Rev. Metropolitan, referring to the connection of His journey with the Apostle Paul and inviting His Eminence to link this journey from here on out with the Monastery of Karakallos, as another reference to the Apostle of the Nations.
His Eminence, during His objection, warmly thanked the Elder for the kind and honorable invitation to lead the festival of the Monastery and expressed His emotion, speaking of the common struggle of monks and laity, to experience and witness Christ Crucified and Risen.
