On October 19, a prayer service was held on the territory of the military unit in the village of Sapernoe before the start of construction of a church in honor of the blessed Prince Andrei Bogolyubsky.

At the invitation of the unit commander, the dean of the Priozersk district, Archpriest Sergius Belkov, co-served by his assistant in the Military Department, Priest Sergius Komarov, and the secretary of Priest Alexander Semyonov, performed a prayer service before the start of any business. The clergy, together with military personnel, inspected the construction site, finally determined the location of the future church building and prayed together. After which the first foundation piles of the future church were installed.

Then all those present proceeded to the mobile church, prepared for sending to the Northern Military District zone. Icons and other church utensils were placed in the church, donated for these purposes by the parish of the Church of the Konevskaya Icon of the Mother of God in Sapernoye, as well as prayer books and other spiritual books. Father Sergius sprinkled the church with Holy water and gave a blessing for creative work to the military personnel.
