The National Museum of the Village invites Bucharest residents to the Saint Dimitrie Fairtranslated

The National Museum of the "Dimitrie Gusti" Village invites the people of Bucharest to the fair of Saint Demetrius, held these days.
The series of activities includes Romanian folk music recitals, the presentation of a play, the opening of the exhibition "Pavel Caba. A life dedicated to wood" and other events.
Craftsmen from the whole country are expected to participate in the fair with traditional Romanian products, such as: bread, bee products, vegetables and seasonal fruits.
According to the institution, the celebration of Saint Demetrius marks the last and most significant celebration of autumn, which, according to the pastoral calendar, represents the beginning of winter.
Saint Dimitrie is considered the spiritual protector of the museum, being an occasion to commemorate Professor Dimitrie Gusti, the institution's mentor.
Access to the events is based on the museum entrance ticket. The detailed program of the fair can be found here.
