The relics of Saints Calinic and George from Cernica will be taken to the patron saint of Sitaru Parish in Ilfovtranslated

Fragments of the relics of Saints Calinic and Gheorghe from Cernica will be taken on pilgrimage to Sitaru Parish in Ilfov on the occasion of the patron saint.

The event will take place between August 14 and 16, focusing on the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the parish's patron saint.

The reception of the venerable relics will take place on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m., after which the Vespers service will follow with the Litany and the Prohodle of the Mother of God.

As a blessing, the Matins will begin at 08:00 and will be followed by the performance of the Holy Liturgy by a council of priests. In the evening, from 18:00, the Vigil service will be held.

The program will end on Sunday, with the celebration of Matins and the Holy Liturgy at 08:00.

The liturgical responses to the services held on August 14 and 15 will be given by members of the "Evloghia" Choir, led by Fr. Marius Military. In the evening of August 15 and in the morning of August 16, the liturgical answers will be given by the psaltist Mihai Ivancea, together with Ana Nuță.
